Boone Grove High School Guidance Department provides academic, personal, and social/emotional counseling to students, as well as college and career planning. Counselors meet with students several times a year. Students can also schedule appointments with their counselor by stopping down to guidance and filling out a Request to See a Counselor Form. Parents are encouraged to contact their student's assigned counselor at any time during the school year. Students may meet with a counselor during a study hall or lunch, before or after school, by appointment, or when an immediate issue exists.

FAFSA COMPLETION EVENT 2016!
Boone Grove High School will hold a FAFSA Completion Event on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Room 171 and 172. There will be a representative from ISM College Planning to give hands on support while you file for the 2017-2018 FAFSA application and to assist you in completing the application to ensure accuracy and answer any questions you may have. COLLEGE GOAL SUNDAY
College Goal Sunday is a program that helps college-bound students, who qualify for undergraduate admission to a college or technical school in the fall of 2017 and their families to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). College Goal Sunday provides on-site help from financial aid experts, primarily from Indiana colleges and universities. Your FAFSA form must be received by the federal processor on or before March 10, 2017. 21st Century Scholars are required to complete and submit a FAFSA form to claim their 21st Century Scholarships.
College Goal Sunday will be held at Ivy Tech Community College, 3100 Ivy Tech Dr., Valparaiso, IN 46383 on November 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. And also on February 12, 2017.
