Sigma Phi Epsilon’s Balanced Man Scholarship

Welcome to the Sigma Phi Epsilon’s Balanced Man Scholarship Application! Here you will find applications for 5 Ohio schools:  The University of Cincinnati, Miami University, Bowling Green State University, The Ohio State University, and the University of Toledo.The Balanced Man Scholarship in no way represents a commitment to attend any of the schools where you apply for the scholarship, nor does it require you to join any chapter of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. This scholarship is merely a celebration of the Balanced Man ideals that Sigma Phi Epsilon has been founded upon – the presence of a Sound Mind in a Sound Body. IPFW Fine Arts Scholarships

The College of Visual and Performing Arts at IPFW offers awards and scholarships to students majoring in fine arts, music, theatre and visual communication and design. Jim and Betty Dye Scholarship Program

The James W. and Betty Dye Foundation was established to provide tuition scholarships for qualified high school graduates at selected high schools in Northwest Indiana. Jim and Betty Dye Scholarships are awarded to high school seniors to recognize academic achievement, demonstrated leadership and future potential. The awards are for students selected to attend: IU, IUN, Purdue Lafayette, Purdue Cal, IUPUI, & Ball State.  Degree specific scholarships for Agriculture, Nursing, Teaching and Entrepreneurship are available.  The deadline to apply for this scholarship has passed.  Please check back next year for scholarship opportunities.

Mitch Daniels Early Graduation Scholarship

The 2014-2015 Mitch Daniels Early Graduation Scholarship (MDEGS) online application is available now at http://www.in.gov/sfa/2504.htm. The MDEGS is an educational benefit for students who graduate before July 1, 2014 from a publicly-supported high school within 3 years or less without attending any part of grade 12. Within 5 months of graduating early, students must be enrolled in good standing at an eligible Indiana institution. The MDEGS pays $4,000 to be applied first to any remaining unpaid tuition and fees and can be used at any SFA eligible Indiana college. The balance of the MDEGS shall be remitted to the student. This is a one-time benefit and may not be renewed. The MDEGS may not be used for remedial course work. Other requirements apply and are outlined on the website.  The MDEGS application deadline is September 4, 2014

New in 2014, the America's Farmers Grow Ag Leaders scholarship program gives students like you the opportunity to earn a $1,500 scholarship to further your agricultural education. Eloise Gentry Scholarship

Applicants for the Eloise Gentry Scholarship must have a letter of acceptance for the next school year from an accredited college or university, a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, and have participated in extracurricular, community and volunteer activities while in high school, and prove financial need. The deadline to apply for this scholarship has passed. Dr. Mary Steele-Agee Scholarship

Construction Advancement Foundation Scholarship

Indiana Oil & Gas Association Scholarship

The Indiana Oil and Gas Association has scholarship funds available to students entering college in the Fall.  The amount and number of scholarships depends on the applicants and available funds. Food Bank of Northwest Indiana HOPE Scholarship

The Food Bank of Northwest Indiana present the 2014 HOPE Scholarship. They are giving away $1,000 non-renewable scholarships to qualifying students.  These awards are available to graduating seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a desired field of study in Business Management, Agriculture, or Hospitality.   The student must also have demonstrated community involvement through volunteerism and enroll in a college, university, or trade school. Mr. & Miss Math/Science Award
