Financial Aid

FILE THE FAFSA

The Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the most important document for determining if you’re eligible for financial aid — money to help you pay for education and training beyond high school. The FAFSA is filed online at https://studentaid.gov/

What Is the FAFSA?

The FAFSA takes less than an hour to complete, and could greatly impact the ways in which you will pay for higher education. For quick, concise information about how the FAFSA works, use the FAFSA Guide for Hoosiers link on the left.

After you file your FAFSA, your college will be able to tell you which specific college based merit scholarships and grants you could receive as well as how much money you can borrow in federal loans. To find more detailed information about scholarships check out Learn More Indiana’s Scholarship guide for Hoosiers using the link to the left. You can also find more scholarship information on the BGHS Scholarship Page.
