BGHS Registration

  • July 20, 2021July 20, 2021
  • by James Rosinia

Online registration begins on July 26th at 9am.  You can access the information through Harmony using your parent account. https://harmony.ptsc.k12.in.us/home.html

In addition, we are trying an Optional Blended Wednesday this year.  On Wednesdays, students will have the option of learning online.  Our goal is to provide students who would benefit from an independent learning environment an option if they want, and students who would benefit from a smaller classroom environment, that option.  Again, this is purely optional.  In order to participate, students must have at least a C- in all courses (this will be determined once at mid-term and at report cards. Permission form to participate in Blended Wednesday:  https://forms.gle/FTSCgpvHYFPUVWeQ7

We are also continuing with our Instructional Support Period from last year. School starts at 7:30 for everyone, but students who have a C- or better in all courses determined at mid term and report cards, may choose the option of coming in at 8:05 ( students will need their own transportation for this option).  Again, this is an optional benefit.

Any student who does not attend the Blended Wednesday and Instructional Support Period as mandated above will lose Student in Good Standing status and not be able to participate in extracurricular activities.

Lockers will be optional.  If you would like a locker, please contact Mr. Corman or Mr. Rosinia.

At this time for the school year and any events, masks will be optional. Return to learn plan:

Upcoming events:

Tuesday July 27th:  New Student/Freshmen Orientation from 4-6 PM

This will be in an open format with the same optional presentation in the cafeteria at 4 and 5.

Wednesday July 28th: Open house for all students and parents from 12-3.

At any point you have any questions about all of this, please let me know at clay.corman@ptsc.k12.in.us or 219-476-3455.
