IT IS REQUIRED that this form be filled out by Monday, December 16th at noon. Any student leaving or entering the building during the final dates must have the absence pre-arranged by parent by filling out the digital 2024 Fall Parent Note Form which is also due by Monday, December 16th at noon. This link is available on the school website. Students are not permitted in and out privileges, which means they cannot leave and come back in the same day.
Lilly Scholarship Applications are due to the Guidance Office by end of day on Sept. 17.
BGHS will be administering the PSAT Test for Juniors on Oct. 15 and Freshman and Sophomores on Oct. 16. Both days testing will take place from 8am – 11:30 am.

August 6th 11-3 Open House- This is simply a time for students to walk the building and find lockers. Feel free to come and go as you please during this time.
August 7th, 3 PM to 6 PM- Wolf Quest, Parent Information Night- This will be a self-guided and self paced activity, so you will be able to spend as much or as little time as you would like (except for FASFA). Please feel free to arrive and leave whenever works for you:
Parents will be able to scan QR codes (each topic will be clearly labeled as you move through the school)with their phones and speak directly with teachers about these topics in the following locations:
Planning for the Future – Located in the Main North-South Hallway (centered around Mrs. Swan and Miss McGinley)- Covering graduation pathways, vocational opportunities, Dual Credit, state testing.
Attendance Policies- Located in the Northeast Hallway (Centered around Ms. Mikulich and Miss McGinley’s room) Covers the new attendance policies in detail.
FASFA Application Information and Assistance (Starts at 4:30)- Cafeteria, designated especially for senior parents
Colleges and military- Small gym- Talk directly to representatives from these institutions about opportunities.
Incentive Programs- Located in the Southeast Hallway (Centered around Mr. Chant and Mrs. Fortenberry) Learn more about Student in Good Standing, ISP, Blended Wednesday, Lunch Help, and Final Waivers.
Getting Involved- Main Gym and back commons- Discover all the opportunities to participate in clubs and activities.
Skyward Assistance-Main office with Mrs. Moreno and Mrs. Saco.
Ipad pick up. Room 186 (across from Miss McGinley) Students will be able to pick up new ipads! Please bring your old ipad to exchange. You will be able to buy cases (which you need to pick up the new ipad as well).
This is our first time trying something new. We wanted to try and give you one night where you could gain a ton of information without taking repeated time from your busy schedules.

Attendance
Please remember the emphasis on attendance this year. There is a maximum of four parent excused absences per semester.
Phone Policy
In accordance with state law, students are not allowed to have phones out during classroom instruction.
