Attached is the Health Care Professionals Scholarship sponsored by the NW District of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. This is open to ALL graduation senior students planning to study ANY healthcare field. Deadline is March 1.
This year, juniors will be taking SAT as the state-mandated test. We will be giving the test on the morning of March 3rd.
Students will receive standard SAT scores as well as proficiency levels specific to Indiana. The cut scores for these proficiency levels will be determined by Indiana educators following the first test administration.
Students may elect to send their SAT score reports to up to four colleges/universities at no charge.
This will be a digital version of both the English and Math sections. There will be no essay. The majority of the test will be multiple choice with some numeric fill-in as well.
Below are state-provided links with some guidance on test preparation.

All 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students have to have their Odyssey courses complete by Friday, May 20, 2022 at 2:35 pm.
Any course not completed by the deadline will be reset during the fall semester 2022.
The first-semester report cards have been finalized and if you have any grade below a C-, you will be required to attend ISP and be in-person on Blended Wednesdays from now until Friday, February 11th.
ISP (Instructional Support Period) is from 7:30am – 7:55am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with your 1st-period teacher. Midterm for the 3rd quarter (February 11th) will be the next opportunity to get off this list. Failure to meet your attendance responsibilities will result in the loss of your Student in Good Standing status, discipline infractions, and excessive attendance issues will be referred to Porter County Probation.
Reminder: MASKS ARE REQUIRED at all times while on the school bus. This is a federal mandate and must be followed. Your help is greatly appreciated.
The first day of the second semester is Wednesday, January 5th and even though this is a Wednesday it is NOT a blended day since it is the first day of the new semester.
Final Exam Waivers will be pushed out to iPads today!
IT IS REQUIRED that the Google form be filled out by Wednesday, December 15th at noon. Any student leaving or entering the building during the final dates must have the absence pre-arranged by parent note (this note must be turned into the office by Thursday, December 16th at noon). Students are not permitted in and out privileges, which means they cannot leave and come back on the same day.
Remember you can only use a waiver in a class that you have a C- average or better grade for the waived class in that semester.
If you decide to use a waiver in a class and you take the final exam and the exam helps your final semester grade, the exam is counted. If the exam doesn’t make any difference or lowers the semester grade, the exam is not counted.
Below is a copy of a Parent Note to be used. There will also be physical copies in the office.
